THAT'S ME

Yeah, I'm trying to tie shoes that have zippers in that picture. I don't do photoshoots very well. Hi! I'm Jordan, and I've been many things in my 25 years of existence (my favorites being: a DJ, marketer, on-air host, event planner, and older brother).  

I was born, raised, and still live in New Brighton, Minnesota where I managed Irondale High's school store and made beats in the band room growing up. I later attended Bethel University, where (in addition to academia, of course) I started my DJ and event planning career. In 2013, I oversaw planning, budgeting, marketing, and execution of over 30 events while managing 60+ student volunteers. That all happened while waking up at 4am every morning to intern on 101.3 KDWB's Dave Ryan in the Morning Show, a nationally recognized radio program based in the Twin Cities (I was promoted to Assistant Producer of the show in 2015). During the same time, I also worked at 100.3 KFAN in their promotions department, planning even more events and managing social media/digital content for, at the time of my departure, their 61.7k followers.

In 2016, I began working at Go Radio where I hosted The Night Show, broadcasting on Go 96.3, the modern alternative channel every weeknight (7pm-12am).  I'm responsible for all on air/social media content and proper branding for my time slot, the planning and execution of station events and scheduling the station's playlist. In addition to my Go 96.3 tasks, I also handle a weekend show and promotional tasks for Go 95.3, the modern hip hop channel.

My experiences in the music and entertainment business and my marketing education have gone hand in hand, as I've used my degree and applied it to the growth of the radio stations, shows, and events I've worked on. Over the last three years, I've assisted in the planning, marketing, social media management, and execution of events like KDWB's Jingle Ball, KDWB's Star Party, Go Radio's ongoing "Go Show" series.  All events included extensive digital/social content creation, which I helped execute in order to advance both brand and client objectives.
